P1 and P4: Students will get a bit of breathing room with regard to their position papers. We will go over Chicago style referencing and bibliographies in class tomorrow then they will have a final day in the library to complete the essay organizer and a working copy of their bibliography. At the end of the class on Thursday, I will collect all process work to assess how each student is doing. Because I will have 60 assignments to go through, we won’t resume work on the papers until next week. That will push the due date back by a few days. I will determine a more firm date with students once I see how the process work is going. We will do some in-class review of the Great Depression and the causes of WWII on Friday, then students will write their quiz on those topics Monday.
P2: Students should be finishing their research and completing the essay organizer. They have one more period tomorrow in the library. If necessary, students should look at the resources I have posted on my website with regard to footnoting and blibilographies. The final draft of the paper will be due Monday and the next scheduled unit test will be next Wednesday.
Have a great evening.
