Well, this is the last Harris History update of 2013. Don’t worry, there will be more to come in the new year. I am going to start doing video updates so you can hear and see me describe the day’s activities and homework. Just kidding.
Students in all of my classes technically do not have homework; however, many have indicated that they will continue working on their course culminating activity over the break.
P1 and P4 have 3 work periods scheduled when we return (Jan. 6, 7, 8) and the Great Canadian debates begin on Monday, January 13.
P2 students have 2 work periods when we return (Jan.6, 7). Their projects are also due on the 13th.
I have asked all students to try to use our TVDSB databases as much as possible when conducting research. The username and password was given to them in class and I will post them on my website as well. Students can access the databases from our Oakridge homepage; it’s the ‘Library 2’ link on the left hand side.
I hope that you enjoy any time off that you have over the next 2 weeks. I won’t be checking my email but you will hear from me when school returns in January. Take care.
