Harris History Update

Hi Everyone:

Grade 10s had their course registration assembly today. I think it was pretty overwhelming for many of them based on the looks I saw on their faces. The Guidance page on the Oakridge website is a good place to start in terms of getting information about next year’s courses. The scary thing is that the kids have to think past next year as well to make sure they have the right prerequisites for post-secondary school. The Grade 11s go for their assembly on Monday.

P1: No homework, but students should start thinking about what causes wars to occur. We will be looking at why WWI began on Monday and Tuesday of next week.

P3: Students should complete the research for their Day in the Life assignment over the weekend. They need to consult 3 reliable sources. The assignment is due Wednesday instead of Tuesday due to the assembly on Monday.

P4: No homework!

Have a great weekend.
